The 9/11 Commemorative Subcommander - Delivery DEC 2026

In Honor of the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001:

The Mission:

Brigade has teamed up with New York City police officers and watch enthusiasts to design this Special Edition Brigade Subcommander, created not simply as a watch, but as a lasting tribute to the men and women who answered the call, the families forever changed by that day, and those we have continued to lose in the years since due to illnesses and injuries sustained in its aftermath. 

 

The Watch Design:

• The Dial: Inspired by the colors of the New York City Police Department, the dial transitions from NYPD blue to green, symbolizing the city, the department, and the resilience that emerged from tragedy. 

 

• The 12 O'Clock Star: The 5 points representing the 5 boroughs of New York City, serving to mirror the 24 stars within the official NYPD flag. 

 

• The Gold 23rd Minute Marker: Serves as a quiet but powerful reminder of the 23 members of the NYPD who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th. 

 

• The Motto: Beneath the Subcommander name appears the department’s historic motto, Fidelis Ad Mortem - “Faithful Unto Death.”

• The Caseback "Never Forget" Engraving: Turn the watch over and the story continues. Featuring the Statue of Liberty, the Freedom Tower, and the Tribute in Light beneath the words “Never Forget" dedicated to those lost on September 11th, as well as the countless first responders and survivors who have since succumbed to illnesses and injuries connected to that day. 

The Cause:

The 9/11 Commemorative Subcommander is a collaboration timepiece built to serve a vital mission on the home front. Proceeds from every watch sold will benefit Law Enforcement Officers Weekend Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the families of law enforcement officers who have been critically injured or killed in the line of duty. 

Every watch in this commemorative release is individually serialized, ensuring each piece becomes a unique part of this historic anniversary. More than a timepiece, it is a reminder of sacrifice, service, courage, and the promise that those we lost will never be forgotten.
